I have just moved to Powell River to support family living on Texada and to get back to a smaller community that feels similar to when I lived in Whistler and Squamish in the 80's and 90's. There are many people moving from Vancouver to a quickly growing Sunshine Coast cashing in on their property and retiring away from the hustIe and fast pace of the city. I was born and raised in North Burnaby, I have continued my families long time support for seniors programs at the Confederation Senior Center Volunteering for the Seniors lunch program and at the flea markets held through out the year. I Have been a Realtor since 2010 originally working with the Sutton Group West Coast Realty, 2% Realty West Coast and now with 2% Realty Sunshine Coast Inc.
